Hollywood starlet Kim Kardashian and New Orleans Saints running back Reggie Bush have separated, according to a recent article by People.com.

It appears that the couple’s differing schedules kept them apart too much of the the year. Any relationship is difficult, but one that involves long separations is almost destined to fail.

The NFL pre-season starts in early August and the full season after that, running until the end of the year. Nobody would like to be in a relationship when they could not have significant time with their partner from the time period of August to December.
