Are you looking for free or low-cost movies or television episodes on the internet? If so, you are not alone.

Many people are migrating to the internet to watch their movies or television shows, and you can bet they would like them to be free or very low in price.

Here is a list of places where you can watch movies and television show episodes for either free or for a low monthly cost.

1. Hulu. This website is becoming the go-to destination to watch free television episodes and even full-length movies. You usucally have to wait at least one day for new TV episodes to appear on the site but that is not that bad. Hulu has plenty of movies you can watch for free, though at this time there are not that many new films. Recently Hulu has started to add more commercials that you have to watch. Still, Hulu is one of the best places for free video content on the internet.

2. Netflix. This site is a subscription-based service where you pay a monthly fee. You receive DVD discs in the mail and send them back to get replacements. Netflix also has the ability to watch unlimited movies through their website as part of the subscription. Thus, as a combined package, you get new releases in the mail plus a huge selection of older movies you can watch as much as you want.

3. Blockbuster. This company also offers a DVD-by-mail plan for a monthly fee. Blockbuster is not as popular as Netflix, though they are likely to try to compete in other ways.

4. Youtube. This website is known worldwide for its short videos. Recently Youtube has started to add more television episodes and free full-length movies.
