Walt Disney World Admission Fee Increases by $4
Going to Walt Disney World in Florida in the near future? If so, you better be prepared to pay a little bit more to get in.
The entrance fee for an adult ticket just increased four dollars, from $75 to $79, according to the Associated Press. Thee entrance cost for a child went up five dollars from $63 to $68.
The prices are set to go into effect on Sunday, August 2, 2009.
These price increases give visitors every incentive not to go to Disney World or Disneyland. In times of financial difficulty, the folks at Disney should be offering discounts to get into the parks. The last thing they should be doing is increasing the cost of entrance to the parks.
This is outrageous! Disney spends hundreds of millions of dollars on its movies, on salaries for its executives, on stock options for his directors, and they stick it to the regular folk who can least afford the increases.
